At Peak's, we network with reputable breeders to try to find birds that make good companions.
We hand raise our babies, and wean them to a pelleted diet and "people food".
If they fledge here at the store, they are allowed to fly until they learn how to maneuver and land well.  We do everything we can to send you home with a confident, well-adjusted bird.

Birds available at the store are listed below.  This list is subject to change, so please call, in advance, if you're coming in to meet a specific bird.

We are also happy to special order most parrots.  If you would like us to find a specific type of bird, and we are able to do so, we require a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the retail price when the order is placed with our breeder.  The balance must be paid in full before the bird goes home.

WE DO NOT SELL UNWEANED BIRDS.
All birds must be fully weaned before they can go home.  If you put a deposit on an unweaned bird, we strongly recommend that you come in to the store and visit with your bird, as much as possible, until it is ready to go home.  This usually encourages the bird to bond with you, which will make the transition home easier for all concerned.
