WINTER THAW PARTY AT PEAK'S
Saturday, February 25th, from 12p - 4p.
If you've had it with the gray of Winter, come hang out with the colorful flock at Peak's, where the only gray you'll see will be on fabulous African Grey parrots!
Where else can you spend the afternoon with other parrot people?  Come swap bird tales, enjoy snacks and refreshments, and bring your avian friend with you.
Healthy birds are welcome in the retail and play areas, provided that
they arrive at the store in a carrier, or are wearing a secure flight harness.

PEAK'S GROOMING RATE INCREASE:
Effective February 1st, 2012,
the charge for nail clipping will rise to $10.00 per bird;
the charge for wing clipping will rise to $10.00 per bird.
Grooming fees are subject to CT State sale tax.

Why did we change the name?

We wanted it to be obvious that we specialize in parrots.  "Peak" is significant because it is the name of the Military Macaw chick born to Featherlust's original mascots, Millie and Miller.  It provides a sense of continuity.  We want to be your "next generation" bird store, with a focus on education and services.

We already board birds and host monthly well-bird clinics.  In the near future, we'll be adding training and behavior analysis to the services we provide.  Our goal is to improve and strengthen the human-avian bond.
