Results generally take 7 to 10 days, and are issued via a certificate.

BOARDING
Leave your bird(s) with the experts! At Peak's, our boarders are fed a nutritious mix of pellets as their staple diet. We supplement this with something special for breakfast, and finish the day with an afternoon treat. Boarders get out-of-cage time and lots of attention from our knowledgeable staff. We love what we do, and it shows.
If your bird has special needs (i.e., diet, medication or other needs due to non-communicable illness), we're happy to accommodate them. Furthermore, Dr. Bourke, a certified avian veterinarian, is on-call in case of emergency.
You've given us some wonderful reasons why you choose to board your birds with us. Among our favorites:

We desperately need a "date night"!
So whether you're traveling the world, recovering from surgery or illness, renovating your home or cleaning the oven, Peak's will take great care of your special friend(s) for you.
BOARDING RULES AND POLICIES
Boarding reservations must be made in advance. Our ability to take boarders is limited by available space, so we recommend that you make your reservations, as soon as possible.
We CANNOT board any bird that has a communicable disease or illness.
A veterinary check up is required within the three-month period prior to boarding, and your veterinarian must provide us with a health certificate before your bird is allowed to board. Frequent boarders (who stay with us at least four times per year) are required to submit health certificates every six months.
Smaller birds with special needs may be allowed to board in their own cages, provided such cages (and everything in them) are thoroughly clean upon drop off. We reserve the right to refuse to accept birds that arrive in unclean cages, or to charge an extra $10.00 fee for cleaning, at our discretion.
Birds must be brought to the store in clean travel carriers. Travel carriers must remain at the store while birds are boarding with us. This will allow us to transport your bird in case of emergency. We reserve the right to refuse to accept birds that arrive in unclean carriers, or to charge an extra $10.00 fee for cleaning, at our discretion.
Birds must be picked up on the specified date, unless we approve an extension. If you are unable to pick up your bird, as planned, please notify us, as soon as possible. We'll do our best to work with you.
Birds cannot be dropped off or picked up on Wednesdays, or any other day on which the store is closed. Please plan, accordingly.
Birds MUST be provided with at least two toys for the duration of their visit. If you do not bring an adequate supply of toys, Peak's will provide them, at your expense.
If your bird requires emergency veterinary care while boarding, and we are unable to reach Dr. Bourke, you are responsible for arranging treatment for your bird. We will do our best to assist you, to the extent that we are able.
